Aerial Ascent 1994 lithograph/mono prints, limited edition
Invited by curator Beth Sellars to perform a demonstration for the Cheney Cowles Museum event "Artfest", O'Day attempts to auction a limited edition of prints throughout the day. When no bids were made, the prints were shredded and the remains were placed in a weather balloon. At the end of the day, the balloon was filled with helium and sent loose with a note- 'fifty dollar reward for the return of any of the remains.' In the end, neither the balloon, nor any of it's parts were ever seen again.
